ClearKeep is provided by Wangyang. The app helps you review and clean photos and videos without uploading your media or scan results.
Media access and processing
ClearKeep requests access to photos and videos so it can scan the device library for duplicates, similar media, screenshots, and large videos. File names, metadata, thumbnails, and comparison hashes are processed only on the device. The developer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your photos, videos, or scan results.
Permissions
Photo and video permissions are used only for user-initiated library scans and cleanup. On supported Android versions, moving items to the system trash or deleting them requires an Android confirmation dialog. You can revoke permissions at any time in Android Settings.
Purchases
The optional ClearKeep Pro lifetime purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. ClearKeep receives purchase status and stores an entitlement flag on the device. Payment credentials are handled by Google Play and are never received by the developer.
Retention and deletion
Scan results remain in memory only while the app is running. Local preferences—including onboarding status, free-use count, and purchase entitlement—remain on the device until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. ClearKeep has no account or developer-operated server, so there is no server-side account data to request for deletion.
Security, children, and changes
ClearKeep does not upload personal data. It is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with a new effective date.
